Lumi On Facebook

I have been contemplating for the longest time if I really want to start a facebook page specially for my new lifestyle blog over at LUMINNEJ. One of the concerns was that I don't want to have too much repetitive contents appearing everywhere across different platforms, but after much thought, I decided to go ahead and just start one. To my surprise, it does allow me to have another space where I can update some additional contents (apart from my blog posts) more frequently and up-to-date, so to speak.   It does stand apart a little, yet still gel together and link to what I have been blogging on LUMINNEJ, which is absolutely awesome. I guess it serves a whole different purpose and audience, though. Whichever it is, am glad for all the love and support that I am getting from my readers for LUMINNEJ as I am still so new. Lots more to learn and improve on.

Flowing In The Wind

Poetic, lyrical, flowy - fashion can be as creative as how you would allow yourself to imagine. I love these images as they capture that certain sense of free spirited flow and lines through the way the shots were composed - her long straight hair caught in the wind, her sillouettes, her body form, the way the dresses drift, set against a beautiful city landscape, on top of the world, it's definitely a great feeling! Being Oneself

Been trying to figure out quite a few things lately. The choices that have been made and will be making. Are these the wise ones? Once the journey has begun, it's a continuous road ahead. Inspiration: The Lightness of Opulence

I have always thought that chandelier is something of a luxury spending, a little OTT to light up a space, and look too lavish. But since I came across these pictures, I had a shift of mindset. Chandelier, if done well, can be very uplifting, it gives the space its richness without being too affluent if they are paired down with a few simple main furniture and fixtures. Of course, it will look fantastic for dinners with family and friends for that special occasion, like Christmas and Chinese New Year. Who wouldn't like all things beautiful in life?

Wish: A Snowy Christmas

Dreaming and wishing upon the impossible can be deceiving, but can always be uplifting as you will never know if it will truly happen, one fine day...the only time I witnessed snow for the very first time was in Berlin...that was my ONLY encounter...Oh how I wish I could spend one white snowy Christmas, somewhere far far away, and dreaming of running across a white canvas of snow-covered field, just like in the Japanese film, LETTER, and leave a trail of footprints! My footprints {All I want for Xmas...} I wonder what's your Christmas wish?

Dream: My Love with Sze Accessories

Dainty accessories, precious and lovely, they sparkle and brighten up your day (and wardrobe too!) I simply adore the creations by this fantastically young, talented and lovely petite lady, Sze Yoong. A Malaysian exquisite accessories designer for quite a number of years, her designed pieces are absolutely one of my favourites. I own a few pieces from the pictures shown here. Wish: A Massage

This is one of those times that I really need a GOOD massage. I sprained my lower back today (in fact, yesterday). I wish I could have a nice massage to soothe away all my knotted muscles, so that I could drift into a state of dreamlike tranquility, to be flown into a sky full of soft white cotton candy and into a sea full of silky pillows for me to hug and curdle into...{Oh, how I wish this will be what exactly I would be dreaming of tonight, a sweet sweet dream}

Dream: A Lacy Affair

Lace has made a huge come back, or maybe it has always been there all along? Lace has a dreamy quality to it - soft, sensual, sexy and feminine, those exact qualities that are hard to forget, which make us who we are, being a woman. It lingers like fresh scent of intoxicating perfume, it takes on all forms, it smells ladylike and makes you come back wanting for more, each and every time. {Do you have an affair with lace?} I absolutely have.
